Southern-soaked boogie masters Whiskey Myers will hit the road across the UK and Europe this summer following last month’s sold-out run of British shows.

Riding high on the success of latest album Mud, the tight-knit Texans have struck up an instant rapport with fans on this side of the Atlantic.

And frontman Cody Cannon said: “Visiting the UK has opened a whole new chapter in the story of the band.

“The audiences are really knowledgeable, they know all of the lyrics and they love to get involved, which suits us just fine.

“We’ve been playing for over two hours every night and we’ve had a helluva time. And remember, this is just the tip!”
