Industrial genre benders Mortiis have offered fans an exciting first glimpse of new long player The Great Corrupter.

The Norwegian noise merchants have released the ferocious Doppelganger/The Shining Lamp Of God as a free double single download.

Remixed by German industrial legends Die Krupps and club favourites Leæther Strip, the new music sets the scene for the April 21 release of The Great Corrupter.

“We’re stoked to be able to open the floodgates, so to speak, of The Great Corrupter in advance,” said Mortiis.

“We’ve been looking forward to inviting people to check out the Die Krupps and Leæther Strip mixes.”

The Great Corrupter is a collection of tracks from Mortiis’ The Great Deceiver album – deconstructed and masterfully corrupted by the likes of Chris Vrenna, Rhys Fulber, Die Krupps, John Fryer, GODFLESH, Merzbow, Apoptygma Berzerk, In Slaughter Natives, Raison D´Etre, PIG, and more.
