Cats In Space will launch their latest rock(et) and roll show in March after clawing their way onto the Thunder bill.

The retro six-piece are in the studio working on the follow-up to dreamy debut Too Many Gods.

But the Cats will take time out to support Thunder with a glowing endorsement from Danny Bowes ringing in their ears.

“I was hooked the first time I heard the Cats In Space album,” said the veteran frontman. “I thought they were both mental and brave to make such an overtly 70s influenced album. And I loved it”.

Bowes sang on the Cats In Space version of the classic Slade song How Does It Feel and made an instant connection with the future stars.

The best cuts from the band’s sparkling debut – including Mr Heartache and Only In Vegas – are continuing to stick around on key radio playlists nationwide.

And Cats In Space’s modern take on 70s pop rock is causing quite a stir ahead of the Thunder dates.

Greg Hart added: “The opportunity to tour with Thunder is a dream ticket for us. We’re going to rock you all the Moon and back. It will be purrrrfect!”
