Art Of Anarchy will release The Madness next month – ushering in a brand new era with Scott Stapp on lead vocals.

The five-piece – featuring lead guitarist Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal (ex-Guns N Roses), bassist John Moyer (Ex-Disturbed) and New Yorkers Jon and Vince Votta – replaced the late Scott Weiland last year.

And former Creed frontman Stapp said: “I’m excited to be a part of Art of Anarchy. I appreciate collaborating with other talented artists and I can’t wait to share our new music with the fans very soon.”

The Madness will be released via Century Media Records on March 24 and follows 2015’s self-titled debut.

Bumblefoot added: “Scott’s style and the personal lyrics he’s been writing are taking the sound in a new direction- one that brings out the best in all of us.

“It’s a new chapter for us all and I’m looking forward to sharing the new music with the fans and seeing what the future holds.”

AOA evolved out of an 18-year friendship between Bumblefoot and the Votta brothers.

Jon Votta came to Bumblefoot with the idea of putting together a new band with a diverse background and their critically acclaimed debut hinted at a bright future – prior to Weiland’s passing.

Festival dates are planned for this summer.
