Reckless Love have revealed writing has already started on album number five as the flying Finns take a break from playing live.
Olli Herman and co. have just returned from Japan – seven years after their first visit to the Far East.
But there’s no rest for the wicked where the hair metal heroes are concerned with talk of a return to the studio this fall.
In an exclusive interview with HRH Mag Herman explained the follow-up to InVader is already in the pipeline.
“We started writing songs in April and we want to start recording before the end of the year,” he said. “We already have a theme for the new album.”
Reckless Love thrilled a capacity crowd on the HRH Ibiza Road Trip earlier this summer and will feature in Volume II of HRH Mag as part of a celebration of all things 1987.
And they are already planning a swift return to Japan following a headline show at Tokyo’s Tsutaya o-west venue.
“We played Tokyo once before in 2010 and it’s just crazy over there,” added Herman. “It’s not crazy like Italy or Spain where the crowds are so wild and so passionate – it’s mad in a different way.
“There’s no control over most crowds in the world – they do what they want when they want. In Japan the fans do exactly what the band wants! If you ask them to scream then they scream. Otherwise they are deadly silent. It’s very bizarre.”
