Accept will headline a tour of the UK and Europe in 2018 after founder member Wolf Hoffman insisted it’s all systems go for the revitalised metal masters.

New album The Rise Of Chaos is released on August 4 and the band will play a Night To Remember at Wacken Open Air the previous evening.

Trips to Australia and Japan follow for the German powerhouse but in an exclusive interview Hoffman told HRH Mag: “We will be back in the UK and across Europe early in 2018.

“These past eight years have been very consistent and solid for us and we are determined to build on that momentum.

“We’re not going anywhere. It feels like there’s a resurgence of interest in the music of Accept and in the genre of metal.

“The response to our band just gets better and better and we can’t wait for the year ahead.”

Wacken will see Accept split their show into three parts: an opening salvo of classic hits, a celebration of Hoffman’s solo album Headbangers’ Symphony with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and a closing set bringing together Accept with the orchestra against a multi-media backdrop.

“It will be something very special,” added Hoffman. “We are honoured and excited to be playing Wacken. It really means a lot to a band like Accept.”
