The metal gods are smiling on HRH fans with the line-up for one of 2018’s most hotly anticipated festivals promising 48 hours of riff-fueled mayhem.
Headliners Alestorm and Grave Digger join Evil Scarecrow, Memoriam, Elvenking, Power Quest and more at HRH Metal II.
And festival boss Jonni Davis has pledged to keep the horns raised as he readies a slew of bands for February’s Birmingham O2 Academy meltdown.
“Metal has always been part of our lives here at HRH,” he said. “And we listen to our community to make sure we choose the acts the fans want to hear.
“Next year’s HRH Metal line-up is proof of that.”
HRH Mag described Alestorm’s No Grave But The Sea as ‘a treasure chest of pirate metal at its most sparkling’. And the band went down a storm at Hammerfest earlier this year.
German powerhouse Grave Digger won similarly fulsome praise from HRH Mag’s Simon Rushworth when they dropped their latest long player in January. Our Editor In Chief wrote ‘Healed By Metal breathes new life into a genre that’s long since proved to be indestructible’.
The HRH Metal II line-up includes: Alestorm, Grave Digger, Evil Scarecrow, Memoriam, Elvenking, Power Quest, Haerken, Fury, Attica Rage, Desert Storm, Ballsdeep, Monument, Kaine, Cypher 16, Collibus, Fire Red Empress, Gravil, Warcrab, Footprints in the Custard, Dakesis, Lifer, Torous, Sister Shotgun, Skarthia, Elimination, Nightmare World, Trivax, Ironrat, The Mighty Wraith, Vice, Incinery, Metaprism, The Face of Ruin, Sodomized Cadaver, XIII, Masters Call, Wrath of the Gods, Ashen Crown, and Devils Playground.
