There are fewer than 300 days to go until Breaking Bands Festival 2018 and more than 800 bands have applied for the 40 spots still up for grabs.
Having already announced special guest Chris Slade of AC/DC to close out next year’s festival more than 25% of the tickets have already been snapped up.
And today another nine bands have been added to the line-up.
Breaking Bands Festival is all about discovering your new favourite band and the latest announcement reflects that ethos.
But Wicked Stone blew away fans in 2017 and are back next year due to popular demand.
Empyre and Dakesis also return after organisers felt both bands deserved another shot at Breaking Bands glory.
Elsewhere Tarot Rats – a Kent five-piece – will join Portugal’s The Royal Blasphemy and Spawn Of Psychosis.
Friday night will see psych rockers Ward XVI (confirmed for Bloodstock 2017), Skaciety and Nottingham’s Red Rum. The East Midlanders are a band of cut-throat pirates, epic vikings and blood-thirsty warriors and are another band that’s Bloodstock bound.
Tickets are on sale now from www.breakingbandsfestival.com, via our free app and on Eventbrite with prices at £40 for the full weekend including camping. Kids’ tickets are just £1 (under 14s). Limited campervan space is available to book but be quick as that sells out fast!
