German power metal royalty Gamma Ray continue to celebrate their 25th anniversary in style with the reissue of two classic albums next month.

Land Of The Free – the band’s fourth long player – and Alive ’95 have been remastered and repackaged as double disc sets with newly designed artwork.

Both titles will be available from September 29 via earMUSIC and include exclusive bonus material.

Led by Helloween legend Kai Hansen, Gamma Ray influenced a new generation of power metal bands throughout the 90s and noughties.

Land Of The Free was released in 1995 and was the first album on which Hansen took over the lead vocals.

The reissue is released as a high quality digipak and features fan rarities on the bonus CD – including previously unreleased instrumentals, live studio recordings, pre-production versions and more.

Alive ’95 was the first live album by Gamma Ray. It was released in May 1996 following concerts in Milan, Paris, Madrid, Pamplona and Erlangen during the band’s Men On A Tour European tour.

The 2017 anniversary re-release contains a bonus CD including material recorded with Ralf Scheepers in 1993.
