The Quireboys are celebrating a number one album after latest long player White Trash Blues hit the top of the pile this week.

The band’s set of legendary covers was debuted live at the 2017 Ramblin’ Man Fair.

And latest figures from Believe Store reveal the accompanying album has shot to the summit of the iTunes Top 200 United Kingdom Blues Chart.

The album has risen to number four in the equivalent German chart and is just two spots off hitting the top 10 in Finland.

US fans have fired White Trash Blues into the Top 50 of the iTunes Blues Chart across The Pond.

And Jonni Davis, CEO of the band’s Off Yer Rocka label, told HRH Mag: “This is fantastic news and fully justified.

“The band were brilliant at Ramblin Man Fair and sound just as good on what is a superb album.

“Everyone knows they’re a versatile act capable of turning their hands to just about anything but White Trash Blues has exceeded all expectations.”
