The great and good of the rock and metal world will be honoured at the first annual HRH Awards in November.

And after a host of heavyweight nominees were shortlisted ahead of the glittering ceremony the race is on for HRH glory.

Michael Schenker, Airbourne, Twisted Sister, Anthrax, Saxon and more are in the running to be among the first raft of HRH Awards winners.

And delighted HRH head honcho Jonni Davis told HRH Mag: “This is something we’ve been working towards for some time now.

“There are so many people who put so much into the music we love and it’s time we gave something back.

“These awards are fully inclusive and reflect our ethos. The shortlists reflect what the HRH community believes and we believe in our community’s judgement.

“Let’s get the party started!”

The HRH awards have been shaped by classic HRH values: community-led and custom-built by the fans and reflecting the tastes of the HRH Loyal and the wider HRH community.

The Awards will honour the artists, industry figures, and people who matter in the music business.

Sponsored by Marshall, Eden, Natal, JHS, Vintage, HRH Mag and Hard Rock Hell Radio, the red carpet event will take place at Camp HRH, Pwllheli, on Wednesday November 8, 2017.

Award categories will now be voted down by HRH’s Dark Circle, HRH Mag, Hard Rock Hell Radio and a group of key industry players.
