HRH Psych are pleased to announce Mugstar & The Cult Of Dom Keller joining the Room 1 Psych line-up and vert:x join Room 3 Garage/Experimental/New Psych sounds.

It’s been a surprise but also a humble sign as we see its inaugural HRH Psych on the verge of a sell-out within 4 days of going on sale! It’s official, HRH Psych is only showing 82 pairs of early bird tickets left which means it could sell out by midnight tonight. If that wasn’t enough, we are now completing the line up by announcing 2 other main stage bands and a cool addition to the 3rd stage.

The first of the three additions to the HRH Psych line-up are the incredible Mugstar. Formed in Liverpool, and consistently releasing music since 2003, the band are highly regarded and known across psychedelic communities and by their peers worldwide as one of the best bands of their genre. Known for their superb take on modern psychedelic noise rock and krautrock rhythms, the band are due to release 2 new albums this year via Weird Beard Records, one with Can legend Damo Suzuki.

Nottingham’s sonic alchemists The Cult Of Dom Keller join us on Saturday evening at HRH Psych. The 5-piece have just released the follow up 2016’s incredible experimental psychedelic goth-tinged ‘Goodbye To The Light’. Brand new album “Ascend!” shows a mindblowing development of cosmic vibrations and still manages to keep their sound fuelled with deep dark expansive psychedelic fuzz. The band also have a fantastic reputation as a live experience and are notorious for creating heavy brain-melting atmospherics and uplifting swirls of galactic euphoria…we honestly can’t wait for the HRH family to experience this with us!

The third addition are local cosmonaut experimentalists vert:x, the 3-piece delivered ‘Death To False Motorik’ (The Weird Beard) last year– a huge, meaty album that showcased the band’s psych/motorik direction. The new album ‘HED’ (Spiral Void) builds on this with a deft mix of ambience and noise set to persistent, driving beats. The band play the experimental stage on Saturday 17th at the inaugural HRH Psych.

HRH Psych will take place at the legendary Liverpool Arts Club on 17th and 18th April 2021 and is now on sale. Royalty packages have their own class hotel on the doorstep as well as a private booth, bar and balcony in the main arena.
