Formed in 1980, prog-rock band Solstice hail from Milton Keynes and released one album, Silent Dance, in 1984 before splitting just a year later.  However, renewed interest in the band came upon the re-release on CD of Silent Dance, with two more albums, New Life and Circles, appearing in 1993 and 1997 respectively.

Founder member and guitarist Andy Glass reformed the band again in 2007 on the back of a DVD release of their set from Cropredy festival.

Three more albums have dovetailed with Andy’s work with the band 3 Sticks, the latest of which, Sia, hit the streets in November 2020.  This song, A New Day, is the sixth track on the album and follows the release late last year of the first single Love is Coming, featured below.
