PENDRAGON
The story begins in the quiet, sleepy town of Stroud, Gloucestershire, England in 1978. Four like minded, young musicians got together and decided to form a rock band. Zeus Pendragon consisting of Nick Barrett [guitar/vocals], Julian Baker [guitar/vocals], Nigel Harris [drums] and Stan Cox [bass] was born. Full of ambition and joie de vive, Zeus Pendragon started out playing cover versions of classic rock tunes by Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac and Santana and their first gig at the sleazy Marshall Rooms in Stroud was ironically the very same day that Nick Barrett left school forever, burning his maths books and picking up his guitar on the way… the future had been determined. The question now is – where on earth will Pendragon go next? Musically they have become unpredictable and welcome the world of change, it’s an anything can happen day out there!

ARTHUR BROWN

Arthur Brown is an English rock singer and songwriter best known for his flamboyant theatrical performances, and his powerful, wide- ranging operatic voice. He has been a major influence on a wide range of musicians due to his outstanding vocal ability and willd stage persona and concepts. He is considered a pioneer of shock rock and progressive rock and influential on heavy metal music. Brown lead his bands the Crazy World of Arthur Brown and Arthur Browns Kingdom Come, followed by a varied solo career. He associated with Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Frank Zappa, Hawkwind, Klaus Schultze, Alice Cooper. A cameo appearance in the cult film “Tommy”, with Eric Clapton and The Who. Countless collaborations; The Alan Parsons Project , The Stranglers, The Prodigy…His best known 1968 single “Fire”, number 1 in the UK singles chart and Canada, and a number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The album “The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown” had top ten success on both sides of the Atlantic. Following “Fire”, the press would often refer to Brown as “The God of Hellfire”, in reference to the opening shouted line of the song. Arthur and his extensive back catalogue are signed to Cherry Red Records. 2020 Arthur signed to Prophecy records and a unique new album and art box set was released in June 2022 – to much acclaim and press coverage. A collaboration with Cleopatra Records was also released in 2022. Arthur shows no signs of stopping or slowing down. 2022, saw the launch of his new multi- media show “A Human Perspective”.

CARAVAN
Caravan were one of the more formidable progressive rock acts to come out of England in the 1960s, though they were never much more than a very successful cult band at home, and, apart from a brief moment in 1975, barely a cult band anywhere else in the world. They only ever charted one album in their first six years of activity, but they made a lot of noise in the English rock press, and their following has been sufficiently loyal and wide to keep their work in print for extended periods during the 1970s, the 1990s, and in the new century.
JOHN HACKETT BAND
John Hackett has been a much-loved figure in the progressive rock scene since the mid-70’s; best-known for his flute work with his brother, former Genesis guitarist, Steve Hackett on albums such as Voyage of The Acolyte and Please Don’t Touch. ‘Progressive’ music in our sense of the word is based on varied, exciting song-writing coupled with fluid drumming, melodic, funky bass, outstanding guitar in the form of Nick Fletcher, and John himself – whose flute playing travels with such ease between classical and rock.
