Get ready to rock out as House of Lords, the seasoned American hard rock troupe, takes the stage as the headliner for this year’s HRH Sleaze festival on 6th/8th September 2024. With roots in AOR and glam metal, House of Lords has been a force to be reckoned with since their inception in 1987, and their performance at HRH Sleaze is sure to be one for the books.

The band’s journey started after keyboardist Gregg Giuffria’s previous ensemble, Giuffria, disbanded. House of Lords gained immediate success with their self-titled debut album in 1988, released under Kiss bassist Gene Simmons’ RCA imprint. Hits like “I Wanna Be Loved” propelled the album to new heights, and House of Lords quickly became a name in the hard rock scene.

Despite encountering challenges with the rise of grunge in the ’90s, House of Lords persisted. They reconvened in the mid-2000s, with vocalist/guitarist James Christian taking the lead and continued releasing dynamic melodic rock albums. Come to My Kingdom (2008), Indestructible (2015), and Saints and Sinners (2022) are just a few examples of House of Lords’ enduring musical prowess.

The band’s foundations lie in Giuffria, known for their Top 30 hit “Call to the Heart.” After the band parted ways with lead singer David Glen Eisley, Connecticut-born James Christian joined the lineup at the suggestion of bassist Chuck Wright. House of Lords’ eponymous debut showcased a heavier, guitar-driven sound, and the album’s success set the stage for their subsequent releases.

Their second album, Sahara (1990), brought together top guests like Rick Nielsen and Robin Zander (Cheap Trick) and Mike Tramp (White Lion). Although the album faced challenges in a changing musical landscape, House of Lords’ talent and determination kept them going. The band experienced various lineup changes over the years, but James Christian remained at the forefront, assembling a new version of House of Lords that continued to release albums filled with their trademark sound.

Now, in 2024, House of Lords is ready to headline HRH Sleaze, bringing their hard-hitting, melodic rock to the stage once again. As fans gather to witness their electrifying performance, they can expect to be transported back in time to the glory days of rock n roll, while also experiencing the band’s evolution and growth over the years.

With their 11th album, Saints and Sinners (2022), House of Lords proved that they still have what it takes to captivate audiences with their sleek and melodic sound. Their upcoming performance at HRH Sleaze is guaranteed to showcase their talent, energy, and undeniable stage presence.

So mark your calendars for September 6th to 8th, 2024, and get ready to rock out with House of Lords at HRH Sleaze. It’s a show you won’t want to miss, as this seasoned hard rock troupe takes you on a musical journey through their illustrious career, reminding us all that rock n roll is here to stay.
