London-based hard rock band Girlschool is set to release their 14th full-length studio album, WTFortyfive?, on July 28th, 2023 through Silver Lining Music. The album features a guest appearance from Alcatrazz guitarist Joe Stump, who co-wrote the track ‘Are You Ready?’ The album also boasts a cover rendition of Motörhead’s ‘Born to Raise Hell’, featuring guest appearances from Saxon vocalist Biff Byford, Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell, and Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan. The animated music video for ‘Are You Ready?’ was created by Natalia Jonderko Śmiechowicz, billed as a video sequel to Alcatrazz’s ‘Don’t Get Mad… Get Even’, which previously featured Girlschool.

The video can be viewed below. Girlschool’s line-up includes Kim McAuliffe on vocals and guitars, Denise Dufort on drums, Jackie Chambers on guitars and backing vocals, and Tracey Lamb on bass. The band’s previous studio album, Guilty As Sin, was released in November 2015 via UDR Music.

Girlschool appear at the 12th chapter of HRH’s Road Trip next week in Ibiza.
