Following their recent signing with Sliptrick Records and the noise made from their debut label outing “I’m More Metal Than You”; the independent band WEAK13 have now teamed up with British producer The Gideon Complex for their latest single.

The Gideon Complex reimagines the adrenaline fuelled WEAK13 song ‘Go Away’ with the ‘Nada Remix‘. Many critics and DJs have recently publicly embraced the single for its direction which opens the floodgates for similar new releases from the band.

WEAK13 singer & guitarist Nick J Townsend revealed “It was actually an idea suggested by the CEO of the Record Company that we should have a remix of an older song. ‘Go Away’ was one of the first songs we did and we felt it never quite got the audience or attention it deserved. The ‘Nada remix’ has proved very popular and we’re happy more people have listened to the song”.

The music video for the single is a slight nod to the classic John Carpenter sci-fi film ‘They Live’. WEAK13 frontman Nick J Townsend features in the music video for the ‘Nada Remix’.

Nick explained “Some of the lyrics to the song were inspired by the 1988 John Carpenter film ‘They Live’. So we figured it would be neat to produce a music video which kinda salutes the movie. We had a wonderful makeup FX artist from Manchester called Jade Robinson help create the look and we co-directed the music video with cinematographer Billy Ghuman. All filmed during one day and I was in make up for at least 15 hours with limited vision”
